Have you ever felt stuck, or overwhelmed with your life, and thought, "Maybe I should talk with someone?"  I have, and I think every person who wants a significantly better life has thought about this.  But how many actually take the next step and follow through with it?

I don't claim to have all the answers to anyone's problems.  I don't have a perfect life, but I do know the best known practices that make our lives better - and it's that process I trust...  

The process involves being honest about where we're at - where are we starting from?  Taking a personal inventory, including looking closely at our habitual thought patterns and ways of interacting with the world.  With this foundation we can then move into goal-setting - getting clear about what we want and what we're missing, then creating the steps to move forward and make change happen.  

Coaching works because the world is full of distractions and competing priorities.  It is hard to get clear on what we actually want, to create routines and stick with them, and to objectively hold ourselves accountable to using our strengths and working with a support system.  But our tendencies to procrastinate, to avoid healthy habits, to make excuses, or simply succumb to distraction are all typical elements of human nature.  Coaching helps people overcome those typical obstacles.
